Standing shoulder press dumbbell

How to do it

  1. Stand tall, holding dumbbells in front of your body with elbows straight and palms facing your body.
  2. Bend your elbows; bring the dumbbells closer to your chest and once elbows are fully bent, twist the dumbbells so that your palms face outwards.
  3. Now raise the dumbbells overhead by straightening your elbows and lifting your shoulders from the sides. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat the sequence.

Tips

  • Keep your chest up and back straight throughout the exercise.
  • Ensure that your palms face your thighs while performing the biceps curl and face outwards while performing the overhead press.
  • Maintain a smooth breathing rhythm throughout the exercise.
