Chair back lunge right resistance band

How to do it

  1. Stand tall facing the back of a chair with your feet hip-width apart and your hands resting on top of the chair's back.
  2. Place a resistance band around your ankles.
  3. Step backward with your right foot and lower your body towards the ground by bending both knees until your back knee is a few inches from the floor, and pause for 2-3 seconds.
  4. Push through your left heel and bring your right foot forward to the starting position. Repeat with the same leg.

Tips

  • While performing the lunge, your front thigh should be parallel to the ground.
  • Do not let your back knee touch the ground.
  • Use the chair for balance only, not to pull yourself up.
  • Keep your chest up and back straight.
